Kawasan Industri Jababeka $50 million financing

Overview:

• Kawasan Industri Jababeka (KIJ) has borrowed $50 million from Standard Chartered Bank to terminate its bonds and invest in the Tanjung Lesung project.
• The Tanjung Lesung project is an integrated leisure park to be developed by KIJA, and is the government’s main priority for tourism.  
• KIJ aims to add 5000 hotel rooms in Tanjung Lesung special economic zone (KEK) in Pandeglang regency, Banten, by 2018.
