Overview:

  • Energetický a průmyslový holding (EPH), through subsidiary EP UK Investments has acquired the Langage and South Humber Bank power plants from Centrica for £318 million.
  • The combined cycle gas turbine power stations have a combined capacity of 2.3GW. 
  • The deal means that EPH has over 100TWh of generating capacity across Europe.
  • The company had previously acquired the Eggborough Power Station in 2014 and Slovenské elektrárne in 2015.
