Overview:

  • Abertis Infraestructuras has acquired Holding d’Infraestructures de Transport, the company which controls 100% of Sanef, from CNP.
  • The acquisition is valued at €238 million for the last 5.1% of HIT that were acquired in the transaction.
  • Sanef manages five of the seven access routes to Île-de-France (Paris region) and so the traffic routes connecting Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg to the north of France and the United Kingdom, while Abertis already operates 22% of the country's total toll roads network.
  • The deal is a latest in a string of Abertis' acquisitions since the beginning of the year: Abertis Infraestructuras €594 million acquisition of A4 Holdings and Abertis Infraestructuras $1 billion acquisition of 50% of Autopista Central.
