In mid-2012 the team was advising First Trustees Nigeria on the N1 billion establishment of the ARM (adjustable rate mortgage) Money Market Fund, exploiting new rules by the SEC to deepen the capital markets. The firm also acted as solicitor to the offer in Sterling Bank's issue of N7.5 billion in subordinated unsecured convertible debenture stock due in 2018 to a strategic investor through a private placement. The latter was completed in June 2011.
