The firm's fast turnover time is another benefit highlighted by clients. "If there is some last-minute work and we need opinions, we let them know that it's time-sensitive and they turn things round right away," one client says.

Deals
Over the past year, O'Neal Webster acted as BVI counsel to Mercantil Colpatria in connection with its acquisition of a 49.77% stake in the Colombian bank Banco Colpatria from General Electric Capital and subsequent $1 billion sale of a 51% stake to Bank of Nova Scotia. This deal closed in January 2012. In a transaction closed in June 2011, the firm also assisted Tranen Capital in setting up a BVI public fund structure for Colombian investors.
