Deals
The firm continued to work with long standing client AXA Private Equity which saw David Ryckaert and Vanessa Marquette advise on the its sale of Manacor Holdings, a Belgian holding company, to the French Saveur Group, owned by Industri Kapital.
Another transaction involving a long standing client, the Verhaeren family shareholders, saw Ryckaert advise on the merger between Verhaeren Holding and the Kembo group, forming the second largest road construction company in Belgium.
On the buy side, Marquette and Manuela von Kuegelgen assisted AXA Real Estate in relation to its acquisition of a portfolio of six hotels, four of which are located in France and two located in Belgium, on behalf of a joint-venture partnership between AXA Group Insurance, Sogecap and Caisse des Dépôts. The transaction was worth over €100 million.
