Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy has hired a new high yield specialist in London.
Apostolos Gkoutzinis joins the firm from Shearman & Sterling, he focuses on debt and equity transactions and is qualified in England and Wales, Greece and New York.
He is ranked as a Highly Regarded lawyer by the IFLR1000 and has acted on bond issues by the likes of Intralot, First Quantum Minerals and Salt Mobile in the past 12 months.
He will join a debt team at Milbank that includes the likes of Tim Peterson and Trevor Truman.
The move follows the hire by Milbank last week of a team of restructuring lawyers from Cadwalader led by Yushan Ng.
