With extensive experience in market leading mergers, acquisitions and equity capital markets transactions, Steven advises Australian and international clients across a range of industries and business sectors.  
 
Steven has a particular interest in the health, education and real estate sectors, as well as inbound investments from Singapore.  He has acted for a range of private clients, family offices and state owned entities from Singapore in relation to their Australian investments. 
 
From an equity capital markets perspective, Steven has led a number of successful ASX IPOs and secondary capital raisings over the past decade.

  • CapitaLand – advising on the Australian aspects of its acquisition of Ascendas Pte Ltd and Singbridge Pte Ltd in a cash and scrip deal worth approximately S$11 billion, creating one of Asia's largest diversified real estate players with over S$123 billion of assets under management.
  • Arrotex – advising on its A$700m+ acquisition of Strides' Australian subsidiaries and business as well as Apotex's Australian subsidiaries and business, creating one of the largest players in the Australian generic pharmaceutical industry.
  • DGL Group Limited - advising DGL Group Limited on its 2021 IPO and dual listing on the ASX and NZX. DGL successfully raised A$100 million and listed with a market capitalisation of over A$250 million.
  • Education Australia – advising on its A$1.1 billion block trade of IDP Education (ASX: IEL) shares in 2021, and its A$220 million block trade of IDP Education shares in 2021.
  • Klarna Bank AB. - advising Klarna Bank AB., on its joint venture arrangements with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and the launch of its buy now pay later shopping services in Australia.
