Ping (Evan) ZHANG

Mr. Zhang has more than ten years of working experience in the formation, operation and management of domestic and offshore private investment funds as well as their management entities. He is one of the first batch of PRC lawyers who started to practice in this area. He has represented many well-known Chinese and foreign clients in forming more than 200 private investment funds with various types and relevant management entities, including private equity investment funds, private venture capital investment funds, private securities investment funds, contractual private equity investment funds, fund of funds (FOF), QFLP funds, foreign-invested venture capital investment enterprises ( FIVCIE), real estate funds, M&A funds, fund of trust (FOT), film & television funds, sports funds, QDII funds etc., and also including offshore private equity investment funds and fund of funds of US dollar (Offshore FOF), etc. He has developed expertise in designing appropriate corporate structures of such funds and providing them with professional legal, tax, financial, and labor-related advice.
