Javier Cardoso Andrade

Javier Cardoso was admitted to practice in 2009. Has extensive experience in fishing, maritime and port regulation, and corporate law.

He was named Vice-Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture in 2017 and served in that position until 2018. Since 2012, has been Professor of Contract Law at Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil.

• Javier advised and foreign client in a coastal land purchases, purchase of a pedestrian area that belongs to the Municipality of Guayaquil to combine the coastal land lots and build a fishing port. The company wants to build this port in order to receive large fishing vessels. This business involves a foreign investment of US$ fourteen million (USD $ 14.000.000,00).
• Javier has advised his clients to execute foreign investment agreements with the State of Ecuador to benefit from a number of tax incentives.
