Angel M. Salita, Jr., a senior partner in the Firm’s Special Projects Department, is a lawyer and a mechanical engineer.  He specializes in project finance, power, energy, oil and gas, construction, PPP/BOT, telecoms, transport, water and other infrastructure and public utilities projects.

• Advised Lenders in the US$435 Million project financing of San Miguel’s Limay coal-fired power plant;
• Advised Vestas in its US$100 Million supply contract for the Burgos wind power project;
• Advised Meralco PowerGen in its acquisition of equity interest in Global Business Power Corporation;
• Advised Meralco PowerGen in its acquisition of substantial interest in RP Energy coal-fired power project;
• Advised Hutama-RSEA in its US$370 Million construction contract for Manila Skyway (Phase I) project;
• Advised Mitsui in its proposed investments in Atimonan coal-fired power plant;
• Advised Chevron Malampaya in its acquisition of 45% interest in Service Contract No. 38 for the US$4.5 Billion Malampaya natural gas project;
• Advised Mirant Corporation in the US$3 Billion divestment of its power generation business (Sual, Pagbilao and Ilijan) in the Philippines.
